6.25 전쟁 사진속의 타자기를 찾아서...(Looking for the typewriter in the picture of the Korean War ...)
'판문점선언' 을 기념삼아 오래전에 봐두었던 이 한장속의 타자기...
나는 몇달을 실루엣 같은 디자인을 검토끝에 드디어 모델명을 알아내고 일부러 녹슬고 동작이
안되는 부품용으로나 쓸 수 있는 타자기를 구입했다.
완전한 타자기보다 찢어진 동족상잔의 비극을 치유하는 의미를 부여하고 천천히 시간을 두고
망가지다시피한 타자기를 재생해 보기로 했다.
요즘은 전문가처럼 도색을 할 수 있는 성능 좋은 미니건도 쉽게 구할 수 있기 때문에 도색하는 것은
그리 어려운것이 아니다.
사진속의 군인은 6.25전쟁중에 전사했다고 육군 신호부대소속 월리엄 오컷의 앨범속 사진 기록이
있다.

After a few months of reviewing the silhouette design, I finally got the model name and bought a typewriter that could only be used for the rusty, stationary parts.
Rather than a typewriter, he decided to give a chance to heal the tragedy of the Korean War and to play the typewriter that was slowly broken.
It is not that difficult to paint these days, as even the performance of good mini-manis that can be painted like specialists are readily available.
The soldier in the photo was killed during the Korean War, according to a photo from the album of Wallium Oaket, an Army signal unit.
